Sezane Navy/Beige Mini Fall Capsule Wardrobe
Sezane is one of my most favorite brands and I have collected quite a few pieces since first discovering the brand earlier this year. I thought it would be very fitting to make my first actual blog post a Sezane Fall Mini Capsule Wardrobe. I used shades of beige and navy as the core colors of this mini capsule. It’s only 10 pieces total but every top goes with every bottom and every outfit can be matched with either boot options. Finally the outerwear pieces can layer over any of the outfits.
I think this is a great way to approach a capsule wardrobe especially if you are new to it like I am. Keeping the capsule small and limited in colors can really make it easy to put together as a starting point and build upon it with more pieces that can be intertwined into the base 10 pieces.
Martin Sweater: A classic Mariniere is a must in a French Inspired Capsule Wardrobe. I especially love this sweater because of the added elements of the shoulder buttons and I love how the stripes start midway. This is a classic top and one you are sure to have for many years. It’s 100% Merino Wool and I own this sweater and can tell you its not itchy (I’m not that sensitive, though).
Anil Jumper: This short sleeve light sweater is made of a viscose blend. I love the square scoop neckline and the scallop detail. This top fits my mild weather here in Southern California but you can also layer the cardigan or blazer over it for some warmth. This also comes in Cream which would fit into this capsule perfectly as well.
Lou Jumper: This is a Merino Wool/Cotton Sweater which is also lightweight. I can’t get enough of stripes so I had to add this one too. I own this jumper and am wearing it on repeat. I love the v-neck style - its so flattering.
Adele Boots - These tan leather boots can be worn over the trousers or under the jeans. The color is neutral and goes very well with navy. Classic knee highs with a comfortable block heel will last for many fall seasons to come.
Gaspard Jumper: This classic and very popular from Sezane can be worn with the buttons to the front or back. Layer it over any of the other sweaters or on its own. I recommend sizing down as it runs large.
Christie Jacket: A classic double breasted taylored blazer. This can be dressed up or down and makes for a great outerwear/layering piece for any of these outfits.
High Adele Boots: These are the ankle bootie version of the tall Adele boots. Great for a casual parisian vibe. Its the comfort of a chelsea boot but a little more feminine.
Maxime Trousers: These Organic Cotton pants are high waisted with a paperbag style and have an tapered ankle length. An elevated casual style and I think paperbag style trousers can be work by most body types.
Gustavo Trousers: Slightly low waisted 7/8 trousers. Match perfectly to the christie jacket for an effortlessly chic look.
Justin Trousers: High waisted straight leg denim trousers with 1% elastine for a little stretch to help make them more comfortable. An elegant silhouette and a perfect match to all the tops.
